BELT

BELT (Business, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership Training) is a semester class offered as part of the Exploratory rotation for 8th graders. Students will learn how to create different documents using the Microsoft Office Suite that they would use if they were to create their own business during the first quarter. During the second quarter, students will have the opportunity to create their own business and recreate the documents from the first quarter for that business. Students will also hear from local entrepreneurs to learn about what it takes to create your own business.

• A calendar will be sent home each Monday morning to show what will be worked on that week. The calendar is “fluid” meaning it can change, and I will make updates as needed.
