Shoes
Running cross country will require a quality pair of shoes. We recommend a running training shoe (see right) for daily practices. Racing cross country spikes (above) are highly recommended for varsity runners (TBD after time trial) and are optional for non-varsity. Distance track spikes (the same as sprinters' spikes except the shoes have a cushioned heel) can be used for cross country. You will have to insert the spikes into your shoes. Spikes should be inserted BEFORE arriving meet day!
